How to make a Stay abroad request?

- Click on the orange circle with the plus symbol.
Enter the information under ‘General’, as shown in the example below (1).

Degree programme Select the degree programme in which you are enrolled. The option should be marked and display (Current).
- If you are enrolled in multiple degree programmes, choose for which degree programme you will be staying abroad.
- Stay abroad Choose which semester you will be spending abroad: ‘Autumn’ or ‘Spring’.
- The start date and end date will be displayed automatically (2).
- Destination The minimum required number is mandatory, the maximum allowed number is optional. For example see 3 and 4. In the example below, you'll see a minimum and maximum of 1. If the maximum is higher, you may add more destinations, but this is completely optional.
- After every choice you have to click on Add destination (5).
- Click on the orange circle with the plus symbol to proceed.
Note: Take care to click 'Add destination' (5) after choosing each destination.

- If you wish to change a preference, drag it up or down in the list.
Have you made an incorrect choice, you can remove it by clicking on the circle with the number at the start of the row twice. After the first click, the cirle turns into a prohibition sign. Clicking it again results in the removal of the line from the list.
Note: You can keep making these changes until you click 'Submit'. - Do not forget to regularly store the data you have entered by clicking on save.
- On right side of the screen, you will continually see the choices you have made. The ‘Additional information’ option (6) is not in use.
- Click on the orange circle with the arrow symbol again to proceed to the next step.
Checking and submitting your application
- Review the information you provided for accuracy. Once you click on ‘Submit’, your application will be submitted. You can ignore the first suggestion as it is not in use.
Once you click 'Submit', it is no longer possible to alter your choices.
- (6) 'Additional information' is not in use and therefor not applicable.
- (7) 'is not applicable'.
- (8) Click on 'Submit'.
- After you click submit (8) your application has been submitted and you will receive a confirmation of your application by email.
Tracking the progress of your application for a stay abroad
- The screenshots above show how you can keep track of the process from here on.
- There is only a single step that needs to be completed: ‘Approval by School’ (1).
- Under ‘Progress’, you will be able to see the current status of the decision (2).
